Banarang by Julio-Lacerda Banarang by Julio-Lacerda
Adding two letters at once, here is a quasi-conflict scene, which is quite unusual for me. Kronosaurus and Woolungasaurus are about to settle their differences.

The title, "Banarang", supposedly means "blood" in Wagiman, an aboriginal language from Australia. You can probably guess why I chose this name.

I'm quite proud of this picture, after I had to create a complete model of that Kronosaurus in blender to have a reference for a suitable angle.

Nice. The first thing that came to mind when I seen the title was the song Banarang by Skrillex^^

I probably will, ocean scenes are very appealing to me as well (and relatively easier to do than things like forests etc). :)

INCREDIBLE attention to detail with this one!
As odd as it sounds, it's great you included the cloacas in the two, most artists tend to skip over things like that. Makes it more realistic though, almost like you took a photo while on a dive.

Thank you! And I have no problem with drawing cloacas and such, although some people may find it offensive or something (which is a shame, if you like real animals you should like them whole ).

I know! In high school my art teacher yelled at me for drawing male animals as males. We had a drawing we were supposed to do from a photo, which was of a male horse, so I drew it as a male horse.
Ah well, good to see an artist that isn't afraid to show the whole creature!

So the one on the left is seen from its backside..? But totally awesome detail for the water and perspective. They looks as if they are sizing each other up...

Wow, the light coming through the water and reflecting on the skin and the texture in the transition of color patterns is just superb! That closeup of Kronosaurus' flipper is almost like i'm looking at a shark's or whale's flipper in a photograph. You even gave him/her a cloacal slit

I think with each new piece you keep getting better and better!
