The Aquarium #12 by Julio-Lacerda The Aquarium #12 by Julio-Lacerda
The Peruvian Red-bellied Penguin, one of the giant south american penguins, is easily recognizable for it's long beak and reddish-brown belly. It is more agressive than usual for penguins, and it's big size (up to 1.5m) makes it a rather dangerous animal to handle.

thanks to ~JWArtwork for suggesting me to do "those enormous extinct penguins" :D

Wow this is incredible! I really didn't know this was fake for a second, and that extinct penguins had been brought back, and put in public aquariums! *sigh* Some day...

I love the water distortion at the surface! It really lends to the idea that we're looking at this thing through aquarium glass.

Creationists in the future will argue that giant penguins lived in 21c when they found your picture later.

The best depiction of Inkayaku ever. Very good the effect of the in surface-under the water view of the animal, and the light. Now, how do you travel in time? :)
