I did'nt know about this dinosaur until I found this picture. Thank you.
If it is a Tyrannosaurid it might help support the theory of Megaraptor being a Tyrannosaurid as well.

This is fantastic, I love the bird-like proportions especially the the contrast of musculature between the proximal and distal components of the legs.

I also like the bird of prey eye and pretty much everything :D

I love the snout! :)  Did you reference a shoebill for it?  It kinda reminds me of a shoebill...

Thank you! To be honest I don't remember, I had this concept design for Santanaraptor for quite a while but only now managed to transform it into a full painting. I do remember that I based the black colouration and that serious stare on terrestrial hornbills.

Fantástico, tudo na cena é muito realista e bonito! Gostei bastante da coloração do Santanaraptor, o focinho e a ponta da cauda chamam a atenção, mas sem perder a discrição que um predador precisaria.

Thanks Joschua! The turtle is supposed to be Araripemys, related to modern freshwater turtles from Africa and the Amazon.

It looks like a Emys European Turtle version of Araripemys.

Nice to see to this coelurosaur (tyrannosauroid?) from Brazil. Also, the turtle is magnificent, is based in any particular genus?
